Too Cool!

Grady got some new sunglasses that fit him well and I got him some new shoes that are really cute and easy to get on. They're leather indoor/outdoor shoes, similar to a name brand. Grady now has 2 teeth, he had a little more trouble with the second one. He's pulling himself up on the couch and attempting to climb it, but he's not quite there yet. He's crawling everywhere, especially after the cat! He loves to hold your hands and try to walk, he's got the motion down but doesn't have the strength or coordination. Things are well in Arkansas, the house is great, we're settling in and really enjoying it!

We had Grady in his crib and he started to pull himself up to standing. He fell before we got the picture, Russ helped him up to get the shot. He held himself up for at least a minute or two and we were able to snag these photos. We're definitely going to have to lower the mattress!

Not quite crawling, but close!

The last couple days Grady's been getting up on his hands and knees. Last night, he started rocking when he gets up. Pretty soon, there will be no stopping him!

New sleeping position

Grady has recently been rolling around more and has found this position to be perfect for sleeping! Go figure! He eventually ends up flat on his tummy, which Mom is getting used to. I check on him frequently and try to get some sleep, I'm getting better!

1st roll over

Grady had his first roll over yesterday around 6:30-ish, these pictures show the progression of the roll over. He pushed himself on his side first, so I ran to grab the camera. I would have missed it if the blue leg of the Leapstart toy hadn't of stopped him mid-roll. I'm excited I even saw it, I know most people miss it. Now we're working on the second roll over!

Here's Grady chewing on his Christmas present from Tim. He's starting to grab more and chew on toys. He's also starting to grab Mom's hair more!

1st feeding

We attempted the first cereal and spoon feeding this weekend, 1/28/06. He had a couple of good swallows, but most of it ended up on me or the bib. We finally gave up, because he got frustrated with the process. Now we dissolve a tablespoon of cereal in his nightly bottle and he is sleeping 8-9 hours a night! He's doing great!
